20 Days In: Finding Balance on the 90-Day Challenge
Progress, perspective, and a little help from family
A few weeks ago, I kicked off my 90-day challenge—and here we are, 20 days in. The scale says I’m down 5 pounds, but the real story is in the balance. Last week, I missed temple after feeling under the weather, a reminder that progress can’t come at the expense of health. This week, I made it back, feeling grounded and grateful.
I’ve been shifting my focus beyond just the physical side of things. Mental health is a big part of this journey too. I want to be the best version of myself heading into the next stretch—and I’m going to have to be. Work has been touch-and-go lately, full of questions and not nearly enough answers. Still, I feel like this reflection period is exactly what I need as I wrap up 2025 and prepare to boom into 2026.
On a lighter note—Jasper’s new shoes got their official “review” this week: five stars from the man himself! These are the shoes he needed, and it’s been a joy watching him take those little strides forward (literally and figuratively).
Saturday was one of those classic home days—chores, cleaning, and a team effort to keep the house in shape (credit to my partner for her meticulous standards). Once Jasper’s nap wrapped up, we headed next door to celebrate our neighbor’s 50th birthday. A fun evening with friends, laughter, and a reminder of how good it feels to pause and connect.
Sunday brought us back to temple—a moment of prayer for clarity and strength in the weeks ahead. With Diwali just around the corner and my in-laws preparing to head back to India next weekend, the house feels full of both joy and transition.
Here’s to progress that goes deeper than the numbers, to family ties that keep us steady, and to finding light—even in the busiest weeks.
✨ What’s one small change you’re focusing on this month to end your year strong? I’d love to hear what’s keeping you moving forward.
