This year has been a memorable one for the weather, and it keeps delivering. Here in Ohio, we’ve been seeing even more snow, with temperatures hovering around 30°F—perfect for snow activities. While the world outside is a winter wonderland, the real magic is happening indoors, where Baby Shark has taken over.

Jasper has officially declared his first favorite song, and it’s Baby Shark! Though the tune might drive adults a little crazy, his uncontainable joy and adorable dancing make it impossible not to join in. There’s something so special about seeing your child discover their first real passion—even if it’s not Stairway to Heaven just yet.

Saturday was a day for celebration as we visited the temple to mark a big occasion: one of our friends welcomed his wife to the United States. Moments like these remind us how fortunate we are and how much there is to appreciate in life. Sometimes, all it takes is a little courage to leap toward opportunities that others only dream of.

Before heading to the temple, we enjoyed a meal out with Jasper’s grandma. This was his second time eating out, and at 10 months old, it was a totally different experience. Watching him try the food and share the moment with us made it all the more special.

Sunday was a whirlwind of shopping adventures. A new Indian grocery store opened nearby, and we were blown away by its size and selection. From there, we headed to the mall for some much-needed wardrobe updates. After years of neglecting our closets, my partner and I are making 2025 the year of self-improvement, starting with fresh looks and confidence.

On the fitness front, the year has started strong. Daily movement has been consistent, and a cardio-heavy weekend left me feeling both worn out and motivated. With a new lifting cycle kicking off, I’m ready to keep chasing those clear mind and body goals. Onward and upward—it’s shaping up to be a year of growth, joy, and adventure.
