This week has been all about getting our sleep routine on track. We transitioned to a two-nap schedule, hoping for a smoother overnight experience. While there’s been some improvement, there’s still work to do. We also started sleep training to help our little guy learn to settle himself. Realizing his room was still too bright as the evenings darken, we’re adding blackout shades to create a better sleep environment.
It wasn’t all about sleep, though. We took a special trip to the Indian store, which was Jasper’s first visit while fully alert. He’s incredibly observant, and it was fun to see him take in the new surroundings. With the introduction of solids, we’ve been preparing homemade baby food, focusing on fresh ingredients. Following my wife’s cultural traditions, we try to limit processed foods, using a baby food maker that’s been a lifesaver for quick prep. Just chop up some fruits or vegetables, and in 30 minutes or less, it’s ready! This approach has been a game-changer for our meal prep, making it easier to feed our little one healthy, homemade meals. Check out the maker here. Not sponsored just enjoy the product so far.
