From Sippy Cups to Suitcases
One small kid, one giant adventure.
3… 2… 1… ✈️🌍
The countdown is officially over! This week marks Jasper’s FIRST trip across the Atlantic as we head to India to see his grandparents and finally meet his only uncle! It’s been a few years, but we’re finally going back to a place my partner calls home—and a place that holds a special place in my heart too. Big memories loading… slowly… because jet lag. 😅
This week also gave us Thanksgiving stateside—short work week, long carb intake. The 90 Hard took a small hit (travel + holidays = undefeated), but the goals are still the goals. We keep it moving.
Grateful beyond words to spend the day with my partner, Jasper, my parents, and my aunt—football on the TV, plates stacked high, and zero regrets.
And because Jasper will be overseas until February… Christmas came early. 🎄🎁 Watching him open gifts before a global adventure hit different.
So thankful for family, for time together, and for memories that don’t fit in a suitcase—but somehow always travel with us. 🇮🇳❤️
The Ohio State vs. Michigan game was a great one, and it was nice to see Ohio State come away with the big win. But early that morning, Jasper had a scary tumble out of his crib. Thankfully he is totally okay, but it definitely took my heart out of the game for a bit. Nothing like a reminder of what really matters.
It also had us reflecting on how much we’ve been talking lately. When people you haven’t seen in a year already know your plans, your trips, and your next moves… it makes you pause. It’s definitely given us something to think about.
Grateful for good outcomes, big wins, and even the moments that force you to slow down and reassess.
Sunday marked Jasper’s last visit to our local Gurdwara for the next couple of months. It was really special to have that moment to say goodbye before the big trip this week. A quiet pause before a big adventure.
As this Thanksgiving weekend wraps up, I’m feeling incredibly grateful—grateful for family, for health, for safe travels ahead, and for these small, meaningful moments that somehow become the big ones. Between the food, the football, the quiet scares, the laughter, and the goodbyes, this weekend reminded me just how full life really is. On to the next chapter with a full heart and a thankful spirit. 🧡
And because “pics or it didn’t happen” is still the law of the internet… photos are on Buy Me a Coffee. 📸☕
