A Weekend With Jasper đ
This weekend started a little rough for Jasperâhis molars are beginning to come in, and bedtime wasnât exactly smooth sailing. But as always, Mom to the rescue. With a few comforting cuddles, our little guy settled down and was back to his usual self at school the next day.
They say adults wouldnât be able to handle the pain of teething⌠and if thatâs true, Jasper is officially tougher than most of us.

Work Sprints and a Bossâs Big Trip
Leading up to Independence Day in the U.S., my week was chaoticâlots of deadlines, last-minute pushes, and wrapping things up before my boss headed off on a dream vacation. But we made it through the madness and finally seem to be on the other side of the storm.

Dinner, Road Trips, and Stranger Danger
On Friday, we took the day off to have dinner at Grandmaâs. Jasperâs still not fully used to Grandpa, so we had a classic âstranger dangerâ meltdown when we walked in. But give it a few minutes, and boomâbest buds playing on the floor. Toddlers are the most unpredictable comedians.

A Quick Trip to Fort Wayne
Saturday was a spontaneous overnight road trip to Fort Wayne. On the way, we stopped in Columbus, Ohio, for some incredible Indian food that won the in-laws over completely. The drive wasnât the most thrillingâbut honestly, it felt good to switch things up.
The highlight? Spending time with someone who owns multiple gas stations and commercial properties. It sparked some interesting conversations and gave me a lot to think about.
We also visited a small, cozy temple in Fort Wayne where Jasper made fast friendsâespecially with the aunties. No surprise: heâs already charming the crowd.

Monday Hikes and Mini-Mercedes
With Monday off, Jasper and I took advantage of the quiet morning for a big hike at the park across from our place. It was just the two of us, ending our walk right at Grandmaâs doorstep.
While Grandma was out golfing, Grandpa surprised us with a new toy: a remote-control Mercedes, just like Momâs. Jasper was thrilled⌠until he started showing signs of a slight fever post-hike. So the big test drive will have to wait until heâs feeling 100% againâhopefully after a solid nightâs sleep.
Life Lately: equal parts teething, travel, and toddler joy. Grateful for the momentsâmessy, meaningful, and everything in between.
