Shifting Seasons, Shifting Focus
Finding purpose in the middle of change
This week marked another tough stretch at the 9-to-5. The passion that once fueled my work feels like it’s starting to fade, and that makes it harder to buckle down each day. But if I’m being honest—with myself and with you—it’s not all on the company. Some of it is on me. I need to either find a way to adjust or make a move that reignites the spark. There are some big goals I want to complete before taking that next step, and I’m keeping my eyes on them.
On the health front, I’m happy to say the 5-pound loss from my 90-day challenge is holding steady. I’ve been focusing on small, sustainable habits—eating better, moving more, and reminding myself this is about consistency, not extremes. The goal isn’t to lose a massive amount—it’s to sustain what I’ve earned and feel better each day.
Sunday carried a mix of emotions. It marked the start of our last full week with my in-laws before they return to India. They’ve been such an important part of Jasper’s world, helping us since he was just a few months old. Saying goodbye won’t be easy. This weekend, they were able to share farewells with friends at temple—a beautiful moment of connection and gratitude.
With that, we’re entering a new rhythm at home. This week will be Jasper’s last two-day daycare schedule before he transitions to more days. He’s truly grown to love school—you can see it in his excitement each morning. It’s amazing how much he enjoys exploring, learning, and just being around other kids.
As one chapter winds down and another begins, I’m reminded that change—though challenging—is often what sparks growth. Whether it’s in work, health, or family, it’s all part of the same journey forward.
✨ Question for you: What’s one area of your life you’re trying to rekindle passion in right now?
