Work for the Parents, Play for the Kid
Dashboards, Grandparents & A Wild Zoo Weekend šÆššØ
Hey friends,
Another week flew by, and in our house, that means one thing: the adults worked and the toddler played. Jasper spent the week soaking up grandparent time while Mom and Dad tackled the ever-growing mountain of work.

Masterpieces in the Making
One of the weekās highlights? Jasper did some painting at school! No doubt, heās giving Picasso a run for his moneyāor at least bringing home some colorful creations thatāll soon decorate our mantel. Iāll probably be the biased parent calling it āmodern art,ā but isnāt that part of the job?

Rows, Data, and Dashboards (Oh My)
Meanwhile, Iāve been deep in the trenches at work, combing through rows and rows of data to build the next big dashboard. Itās a lot of numbers, clicks, and coffee. But the light at the end of the spreadsheet? Post-work joy with Jasper. Thatās the real dashboard I look forward to every day.

Weekend Kickoff: First Zoo Trip of the Year
We kicked off the weekend in the best wayāour first trip to the zoo this year! Thereās something magical about seeing Jasperās face light up when he sees animals in real life. Tigers, elephants, and some very curious birds made the trip worth every step. If you havenāt been yet this season, I highly recommend making the trip. Iāll be sharing some of our favorite zoo snaps soon on the notes section of this website and my Buy Me a Coffee page āādefinitely check them out!

Sunday Traditions: Temple, Friends & Paneer
Sunday kept the good vibes going with our return to the temple. Weāve been making it a point to stay consistent with these visitsānot just for us, but so Jasper feels connected to the community. This weekās service had the place decked out in very pink decorationsāand Iām not mad about it.
But the real win? They served Paneer for Langar, and if you know me, you know that made my Sunday complete. Paneer is the way to my heartācase closed.
Family Life Scorecard:
Parents: Productivity +10
Jasper: Fun +20, Creativity +15
Dad: Paneer Happiness +100
Thatās the week in our world. What about yours? If your familyās been on any fun outings lately (or if youāve had a meal that made your week), hit replyāIād love to hear about it.
Until next time,
David
P.S. Photos from the zoo and more family fun are up on my Buy Me a Coffee page ā. Every bit of support helps keep these stories goingāand keeps my caffeine levels high enough to handle more dashboards!
