Across the World with My Son
How India is teaching us both to slow down and look closer.
🇮🇳 Somewhere Between Jet Lag and Magic
India doesn’t ease you in — it welcomes you all at once.
The colors are brighter.
The sounds are louder.
The air feels full of stories.
And Jasper?
He’s taking it all in like he’s always belonged here.
From early morning chai steam in the streets to late-night family laughter that needs no translation, this place moves different. Slower in some ways. Faster in others. Every day feels both heavy with history and light with joy.
Watching my son experience a world so far from the one he knows back home has been humbling. New faces. New food. New rhythms. Same curious eyes. Same fearless little explorer.
I came here carrying stress from work, travel, and the constant push of life.
India is gently reminding me how to pause.
Grateful for this time.
Grateful for this place.
Grateful for the memories we’re building one sensory overload at a time.
More stories coming soon.
