Balancing Our Goals and Our Baby’s Future
This week, our little man has settled into a routine, laughing and happy as he should be at 14 weeks. As we reach this stage, my partner and I are discussing what’s next for our family.
A major topic has been where we live long-term. We want the best for our kiddo in terms of activities and schooling, but how do we balance that with our personal and professional goals? Are we in the best place for his success and ours? What are your thoughts on choosing the best place to live for your family’s future? How have you approached this decision, especially if you’re just starting your journey?
Another key aspect we’ve focused on is communication. As a coach, I often emphasize the importance of respect and communication, but I sometimes forget this myself. Knowing where each parent stands and what they need is crucial. This week, I slipped up in communicating with my partner, which led to unnecessary strain. I encourage everyone to over-communicate, especially when children are involved. Clear communication can make everything run more smoothly and happily.
